The design for the facade of the Club Med building in San Sicario draws inspiration from alpine architecture, featuring a harmonious blend of wood and stone elements that evoke the traditional charm of mountain chalets. Comprising two separate buildings connected by a walkway suspended above an internal courtyard, the project encapsulates the essence of a ski resort village.
Retaining the outer edges while emphasizing a central wooden core highlights the exclusivity of the Club Med village. Enlarged windows offer captivating views of Mount Chaberton, while fiber cement shingles and wooden paneling add modern touches to the facade.
I managed the execution phase and drawings of this big project of almost 500 individual rooms and suites independently, ensuring its successful realization.
